Hello, we're Harmony at Home
For many years we worked in care, looking after elderly people at some of the most vulnerable times of their lives. We got to know them properly: their families, their stories, what made them laugh and what worried them in the small hours.
That's where we learned what good care really looks like. A familiar face at the door. Someone who remembers your grandchildren's names. A carer who notices you're "not quite yourself" before anyone else does. When people are looked after by someone they trust, they eat better, sleep better and worry less. We saw it every day.
The people who did best weren't always the ones with the fewest health problems. They were the ones who felt known.
We also saw how hard it was when that familiarity was missing. A new face every shift. Having to explain everything again. Being cared for by someone kind, but in a hurry. And so many people told us the same thing: they wished they could have stayed in their own home for longer. With the right help, many of them could have.
That's why we started Harmony at Home Assistance. We wanted to bring the best of what we'd learned into people's own homes, here in Wrexham and East Flintshire, the area we call home. One familiar face. Time to listen. Support that fits around the person rather than the clock. And because of our years in care, we notice when something isn't right and know when it's time to suggest a call to the GP, which families tell us is a real reassurance.

Most of us want to stay in our own home, surrounded by our own things and our own memories, for as long as we can. Sometimes a little extra help is all it takes to make that possible.
Harmony at Home is about keeping life gently in balance: the practical things taken care of, good company to look forward to, and family reassured that someone kind is keeping an eye on things.
